Trail Mix Bars

A trail mix bar can never be missed. The perfect snack and/or breakfast for full energy during the entire day.

  • Prep: 20 mins
  • Cook: 30 mins


1/2 stick of unsalted butter

3 tbsp of honey

1 1/3 cup quick-cooking oats

1/2 cup light brown sugar

1/4 cup raisins

1/4 cup peanuts/pumpkin seeds

1/4 cup chocolate chips

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

1/4 tsp salt


1Measure and have all of your ingredients ready.

2Preheat oven to 325°F.

3Line a 8-in square pan with parchment paper or silicon mat and lightly grease.

4Place the butter and honey in a small saucepan and heat gently until the butter has melted. Set aside to cool.

5Place the remaining ingredients in a large bowl and stir to combine.

6Add the cooled butter mixture and mix well.

7Transfer to the prepared pan and press down firmly with hands.

8Bake for 30 min or until firm. Cool for at least 15 minutes and mark the bars with a knife. Cool completely and lift from the pan.
